Tardis friendship bracelet by ilwin Tardis friendship bracelet by ilwin
This is friendship bracelet I made about... two years ago I think. It's my very first Doctor who fan art I ever made.
It was really some hard work but worth trying it I think :). Yeah I designed it myself. Never done such things before although I've made quite lot of friendship bracelets (always following the pattern though).
No I haven't got the pattern for this written down. I originally planned to do that but my notes are such mess I wasn't able to put into some clear and understandable form so I gave up. I may return to it some day if I find out the way how to make it clear but no chart or something so far. (I was asked for pattern before so that's why I'm writting it here right now :) ).

Just for your information - under the Tardis there's quite lots of space filled with improvisation, which looks... well, improvised, I'm not much good at these things. I didn't realize there will spend so much space after finishing the Tardis picture... %))) (and that was just one of many mistakes I've made during process, haha %D)

Thank you very much!
Well, I don't rememeber how long exactly this took, it's quite long ago now, but it was surely pretty long time and it was very exhausting. I'd never go for making something similar again %D

In fact I haven't got a patience at all! :D
This was driven by the need to have something whovian and because there is no Doctor who merchandise here (from the same reason I started to make amigurumis) and making friendship bracelet were the thing I was doing the most at that time, so I went for this. It was very exhausting and time-consuming and I wouldn't make it again. %D.

Thank you very much!

No, it was so timeconsuming and exhausting to make just this one for me that I can't do some more even for my friends although I'd like to. So no, sorry.

Do you at least know how many strands of each color you used? And how long each strand was? I'm trying to think of a x-mas gift for someone and this would be perfect!!!

I should have write down somewhere how many of each strands I used, not sure about the length. I'll take a look and let you know.

Well, the technique is called "friendship bracelets", if you search for it you find many instructions on the web; if this is what you've been asking for then...

Thank you very much! Well, the colours were pretty given though, Tardis is blue and I couldn't add much more colours, it would grow even much more wide! :D

I've always wanted to learn to make bracelets out of threads, but could never get to it. Do you mind if I try to make something like this, but with beads?

No, I'd totally love to see it made from beads! I hope you'll share your bead one too when you finish it :)

And thanks for the WATCH!

Thank you very much! Well as I've seen this one is first (and probably the last as well) that was such looking (and designed by me, which was the hardest part of course. Making itself then was "just" damn exhausting and time-consuming %D)
